Master the fundamentals of QuickBooks 2011 with hands-on, classroom style instruction.  Students will learn how to set up a new company, work with lists, process invoices, enter and pay bills and work with bank accounts.  In addition, students will learn how to customize forms, create reports, track and pay sales tax, handle payroll and more.   Learn expert tips and tricks to fully utilized QuickBooks for your business.  In addition to QuickBooks 2011, this class would be beneficial to anyone using versions 2007 – 2010.

#206 Medical Insurance Billing and Coding (96 hours)
Instructors: Emily Dailey and Christine Huffman
This course will prepare students for working in Medical Insurance Billing of a medical facility. This course covers the understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial and liability insurance, how to complete a claim form (HCFA 1500) billing of secondary insurances and reviewing explanation of benefits. The Coding portion of the course will cover ICD-9, Diagnosis Coding and CPT-4, Procedure Coding. Topics include V and E codes, Category III codes, and modifiers. Students will also touch on basic anatomy and physiology pertaining to each body system.
A $100.00 deposit is due upon enrollment and balance paid by first class meeting.
