In order to graduate, a student must satisfactorily complete the course of study as prescribed by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.

In order to progress in the program ...
A student must have a minimum of an 80% average at the end of each theory course of study. For each clinical rotation, specific criteria must be met.
Each student pays a graduation fee of $30.00….this covers the cost of the ceremony.This fee is due one month before graduation.
Four months before graduating, each student will complete two applications related to taking the National Computerized Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN):

submit a completed application form + $200.00 money order

Missouri State Board of Nursing
submit a completed application form + $ 41.00 money order
- Some of the questions on the application form are as follows:
- Have you ever been convicted or pled guilty to any crime?
- Have you ever been convicted or pled guilty to any traffic offense resulting from or related to the use of drugs or alcohol.
- Have you ever had a judgment rendered against you based upon fraud, misrepresentation, deception, or malpractice?
- Do you currently, or did you within the past five years, use any prescription drug, controlled substance, illegal chemical substance, or alcohol to the point where your ability to function would be affected?
- Are you now being treated, or have your been treated within the past five years, through a drug or alcohol rehabilitation program?
In addition, the application requires a 2X2 inch photo of the applicant and criminal background checks with electronic fingerprinting are completed by the FBI and the Missouri Highway Patrol. The date for the electronic fingerprinting will be arranged by the program administrator. The student will fill out the registration online and will need on the date of fingerprinting a money order for $52.20. the receipt for electronic fingerprinting is submitted with the application to the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
In order to be a Licensed Practical Nurse, one must graduate from an accredited practical nursing program, receive permission from the Board to take the NCLEX-PN, and then successfully pass the national computerized licensure examination (NCLEX-PN).
