SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry representatives working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA helps each student to excel. SkillsUSA is a national organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in technical, skilled and service occupations, including health occupations and for further education. SkillsUSA was formerly known as VICA (the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America).  Currently, CTC is looking for students to serve as SkillsUSA officers.  If you are interested, please see Ms. Guffey or Ms. LeGrand.  Elections will occur on August 30.

CTC introduces
WORKFORCE WEDNESDAY!  Workforce Wednesday is an initiative to help match our students with the needs of the workforce.  Getting talent and opportunity to connect isn’t always easy.  We encourage area employers to come out and spend a day at CTC so that you can connect with our students and have them learn about your company and all that you have to offer.  For further information or to get on the WORKFORCE WEDNESDAY Fall schedule; email Kathleen Clayton, at claytonk@capetigers.com today!
